This process explains what you can expect when OIT Onsite Services manages network access for your University owned device, including initial access, ongoing validation, and changes to connectivity.

When This Happens

When a device is connecting to the University network for the first time, experiences access changes, or requires review to ensure continued secure connectivity.

What Onsite Services Will Do

  1. Review the device’s network access status and connection requirements. 
  2. Validate required security and configuration settings needed for network access. 
  3. Configure or update network access settings as appropriate. 
  4. Coordinate with you if any action is needed to complete access requirements. 
  5. Monitor and confirm successful connectivity once requirements are met. 
  6. Document network access status and any changes in University systems. 
  7. Communicate access status, guidance, and next steps as needed.
