Delete Your Email on Android Devices

Purpose

This article details the procedure for removing a UTD email account from an Android device. This may be necessary for some troubleshooting steps or simply when leaving the university.

Outlook for Android

• Open Outlook for Android.
• Click on the Menu icon on the top left.
  • This most likely appears as the Microsoft Office logo, but it may also occur as a house or another logo.

• Click on the Settings icon at the bottom of the menu.
  
   
• Click on the account you wish to remove.
  
   
• Scroll to the bottom of the account page and press DELETE ACCOUNT.
  
   
• Confirm the deletion and click on DELETE in the dialog box that appears.
