Each UTD email account inbox has two email addresses associated with it. The primary address, also known as the PEA, is a personalized email address usually in the form of firstname.lastname@utdallas.edu. The secondary address uses the more generic NetID in the form of NetID@utdallas.edu. Both of these addresses go to the same inbox.
By default, outgoing emails sent outside UT Dallas will use the PEA email address in the "From" field. If you would like to change your primary address to another name or remove the PEA from your account, please submit this form.
Note: If you are making a change to your email address because of a legal name change, the name change must be completed first. You may submit the email address change form once your name shows correctly in UTD systems. Read more about name changes.
If you are making a change to your email because of a preferred name change, you will need to submit an Atlas self-service ticket.
