Request PEARL Access

Context

All Faculty, Staff, and Student Employees have access to PEARL (Portal for Enterprise Access Request Library), formerly eCAT, to submit requests for themselves or others. Guest/ Contract/ Grant users only have access to submit requests for themselves. All other user types do not have access to PEARL. If an individual needs to be a Sponsor, this can also be requested via PEARL.

Request Access 

  • Log in to PEARL (Portal for Enterprise Access Request Library) using your UTD credentials.
  • Select Request Access to Access Requests & Directory Manager under the "Manage Access Roles" tab.

  • Enter the NetID under Users NetID of the individual needing access reason for the request.

  • Scroll through the page and select the access being requested in each section.
    • Below is a screenshot of some of the available access options.
  • When completed, click Submit at the bottom of the page.

PEARL (Portal for Enterprise Access Request Library) is a system used by departments for requesting access for users. It includes an approval workflow for all requests.
