Microsoft Project Availability

Purpose

This article provides instructions on how to access Microsoft Project features.

Context

Microsoft Project is not included in the university's Microsoft Office 365 license.

• Students can access the downloadable version of Microsoft Project (for Windows only) via Azure Dev Tools for Teaching
• Departments can purchase licenses for faculty and staff for Microsoft Project Online by submitting a software purchase request.

You may see Microsoft Project in your Teams client or at office.com. This does not allow for creation of new projects and you may see errors including "No license to create a project".
