Purpose
This article provides information on how to
register a device for Wired Campus Network Access.
Registration Process
Wired network access at UTD requires your device's MAC address to be whitelisted. If you do not know your MAC address, please use these articles to find it:
Windows
Mac
Note:
MAC addresses can only be whitelisted for Staff, Faculty, Teaching Assistants, and Research Assistants.
After noting the MAC address, navigate to
Request New Device Network Registration
.
Fill in the details and add the MAC address of your device to the
Description
field.
Click on
Request
.
After requesting, you will receive an email notifying when the ticket is updated.
