Purpose
This article details the troubleshooting and support process for users facing errors when attempting to sign in to eLearning.
Explanation
When attempting to login into eLearning, a user may experience the following error:
"Blackboard Learn is currently unable to log into your account using single sign-on. Contact your administrator for assistance. For reference, the Error ID is xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx."
Note: The Error ID will differ each time but have the same structure, containing numbers and letters.
This error typically occurs when a user has not been added to any courses in eLearning. If they are enrolled in classes and are still receiving that error, please contact elearning@utdallas.edu for assistance.
Alternatively, this error may happen if the user has recently accepted their offer of admission. It may take 7-10 days before access to eLearning is active. For more information, visit the UTD Freshman Orientation site.
