Removing Saved Wi-Fi Networks (Mac)

Purpose 

This article provides instructions to remove the saved wireless network(s). It is a recommended troubleshooting step if you have trouble connecting to CometNet or another UTD wireless network.

Removing Wireless Network(s)

• Choose Apple Menu > System Preferences > Network.

• Select Wi-Fi from the list on the left, then click the Advanced button. 

• Select the Preferred Network you want your Mac to forget in the Wi-Fi tab, then click the Removed Button (-) below the Preferred Network list.
  • If asked to confirm, click Remove. 

• Click OK > Apply.
