Note:
The steps below are for managers and others with resources to add a user to an active AD group.
Log in to
PEARL
(Portal for Enterprise Access Request Library)
formerly eCAT
, using your UTD credentials.
Select
Computer Access
under "Access Requests (Existing Users)."
Go through the form and provide the required information.
During step 4 "Request New Access, " select
Security Group Membership (AD Group)
and
list the AD group(s) you would like to add the user to
in the text box.
If you are unsure of the group name, use the search bar and/ or contact an Administrator or Su
pervisor
.
If they are unsure, provide a description of the access desired in the text box.
Review
and
Submit
the IT Resource Requests request.
