Context
Making international calls on Microsoft Teams (and New Teams) allows seamless communication with colleagues, clients, and partners worldwide.
Note: To make international calls, your Teams Voice extension must enable international calling. If you have not submitted a service request
here.

- Open the Teams app on your desktop or mobile device.
- Sign in to your UTD credentials if you’re not already.
- Select Calls in the Teams app located on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Click on the Dial Pad icon.
- Dial the Country code > enter the International phone number.
- If you are unsure about the country code for the country you are calling, use an online resource or directory to look up the correct country code.
- Click on the Call button to initiate the call.
- Ensure your Poly desk phone is set up and connected to your Microsoft Teams account.
- From the home screen of your desk phone, tap on the Call icon.

Tap on the Dialpad icon on the bottom right.
- Dial the Country code (press and hold 0 to enter the + Plus sign icon) and enter the International phone number.
- As soon as you enter the number, it will automatically call. You can also tap on the Call button.
