In Teams, you can set up how and when you would like to get notifications for teams and channels, chats, meetings, and more.

  • Click on the More options icon (...), located to the right of your Profile icon.
  • Select Settings

  • Navigate to Notifications & activity in the "Settings" menu.
    • Here you'll be able to modify your notifications (General/ Chats & Channels/ Meetings/ People/ Apps).

Customize Notification Sounds

Customizing notification sounds helps you stay alert and ensures you don't miss important messages. Follow the steps below to get started:

  • Open Teams and click on your Profile icon, located top right corner. 
  • Navigate to Settings from the drop-down menu > Notifications.
  • Under "Notification sounds," select the desired sound for different types of notifications
  • Save your changes to apply the new notification sounds.
