This workflow explains how OIT work requests are assessed, routed, prioritized, delivered, and reported. Use this page to understand where your request is in the process and what outcomes to expect at each stage.

OIT Assess

  1. Work request received
  2. Customer collaboration & work understanding (clarify goals, outcomes, stakeholders)
  3. Solution collaboration (create milestone/WBS preview: scope, timeline, budget, risks, dependencies)
  4. TAC Preview (initial review checkpoint)
  5. Decision point: does it meet Operational Criteria or Project Criteria?
    • If Operational: OIT Ops Team completes the work.
    • If Project: request proceeds for full assessment/scoring.

Governance Decision

  1. PMO provides scored pipeline report (assessment results)
  2. ITPG review (governance checkpoint)
  3. Decision: Approved vs Not Approved
    • If Approved: prioritized with the current work pipeline.
    • If Not Approved: routed to Ops Delivery.
Outcome: Customer is notified of status.

PMO Delivery

  1. OIT PMO framework (delivery approach defined)
  2. Plan (scope, schedule, stakeholders, risks, communications)
  3. Execute (build/deliver, manage changes, track progress)
  4. Customer delivery agreement (acceptance & handoff)
  5. Close (final documentation, outcomes, lessons learned)

Governance Reporting

  • PBI Summary Dashboard (Always On) – ongoing visibility
  • ITPMO Weekly Status Reporting – weekly updates
  • ELT Monthly Status Reporting – executive-level reporting
