When This Happens
When you are receiving a new device as part of onboarding, a hardware refresh, or an approved replacement.
What Onsite Services Will Do
- Review your approved request to confirm your role, device type, and any required software.
- Prepare your device using the University’s standard configuration to ensure security and reliability.
- Install operating system updates, security protections, and required system settings.
- Set up standard applications and any approved rolespecific software.
- Connect the device to required University services such as network access, login services, and email.
- Test the device to confirm it is working properly before delivery.
- Record the device assignment and configuration details in University systems.
- Coordinate delivery or pickup and provide basic guidance to help you get started.
