Altium License Issues

Purpose

This article provides instructions for resolving licensing issues about Altium, an application that UTDesign uses and supports.

Resolution

  1. Perform basic troubleshooting steps:
  • Restart software
  • Verify active internet connection
  • Restart computer
  1. Navigate to the Endpoint Software Support service.
  2. Select the Report Issue on a UTD Device service offering.
  3. In the description, note the computer's location and asset number.
  • Include any error messages present. The most common error is "You are not using a valid license."
  1. Click Submit Query.

Engineering Tech Support will coordinate with you to resolve the issue with Altium licensing.
