Instructions
Select
Attach file
from your current chat and
choose
a file to share.
A preview of recently opened documents will show as options.
You can also upload files from Box, OneDrive, your local device, or recent chats.
Some uploaded documents will be protected and will require you to
allow access to anyone you share with
.
Select the
Drop-down menu
under the title of your file to change file permissions.
Select the
people
or
group
you would like to grant access to.
Choose the
access
you want to grant –
Viewing/Editing/Reviewing;
click
Apply.
After granting permissions,
Send
the file as a message and the recipient will be able to open the document within the Teams app.
From within the shared document you will be able to see who is actively reviewing the document (view the user icon in the top right.)
