Search Methods

There's two search methods to see the status of your IT Resource Request in PEARL.

  • Individual Request Status
    • Search for requests by using the user's ID (NetID or UTD ID) or by Request number.
  • Status Reports
    • Pull a report containing a list of requests submitted and approved by you.

Individual Request Status

  • Log in to PEARL (Portal for Enterprise Access Request Library) formerly eCAT, using your UTD credentials.
  • Under the "Status" tab, you can search for requests by a user's ID (NetID or UTD ID) or by Request number.
  • Enter the ID (NetID or UTD ID) or Request number, select your "Search Type" > Search.
    • Search Types:
      • Checkout IT Resource Requests
      • Access IT Resource Requests
      • Access IT Resource Requests by Cost Center
Note: Make sure you select the correct Search Type based on the ID or Request number.
  • Once the request is opened, you can see completed and pending approvals.

Status Reports

  • Log in to PEARL (Portal for Enterprise Access Request Library) formerly eCAT, using your UTD credentials.
  • Under the "Status Reports" tab you can see all requests you have submitted and approved:
    • IT Resource Access Requests
    • IT Resource Checkout Requests
