How to Customize Form Themes in MS Forms

Introduction

Microsoft Forms provides multiple ways to customize forms in a way that makes them your own or adheres to standards. Updating a form theme or background with custom images or colors will help legitimize the form for your audience and make it look more appealing.

Steps

  • Go to Office.
  • You can now find the created Forms in the Recent tab. Click on the Form you would like to customize.

  • Click on the Style button in the upper panel.

Add a Background Theme 

  • You can now view some of the suggested themes on the right panel. Click on any of the suggested background themes as per your preference.

Add Your Own Background Image 

  • Click on the + icon on the right panel.

  • You can now use the Upload Image icon to use your own background image.

  • Search for images in Bing, a OneDrive folder, or your computer or device.
    • Image Search- To search for pictures and images online, select Image Search. Enter the name of the image you're looking for, and then select the magnifying glass search icon. Pick the picture you want, and select Add.
    • OneDrive- To add a picture from your OneDrive folder, select OneDrive. Find the picture you want to add, and click Add.
    • Upload- To add a picture from your computer or device, select Upload. In the Choose File upload box, find the picture you want to add, and then select Open.

  • You can also customize the color using the Customize Color icon and then add the Hex value of the color you want to use.

Add Background Music 

  • To add background music to your Form, turn on the Background Music option present at the bottom of all the themes.

  • You can now select the background from the drop-down from the given option.

Present

  • When you are finished, you can click on Present which will be located on the top right next to the Collect responses.
