What Is It?

Zoom is a video conferencing service. OIT does not offer Zoom as a service to the University. We recommend using Microsoft Teams (https://oit.utdallas.edu/howto/Microsoft-Teams) or Blackboard Collaborate (https://ets.utdallas.edu/elearning/resources/software/blackboard-ultra) for virtual meetings/webinars or teaching.

OIT facilitates getting departments access to Zoom for Education if there are business needs that are not met by Teams or Collaborate. To request this, submit a service request for Zoom using the links on this page and a member of the OIT team will contact you for a consultation.

OIT does not provide direct support for Zoom. Please see Zoom Help Center for self-service support.
