What Is It?
Public Folders are a legacy part of Microsoft Exchange at UTD. Many older "shared mailboxes" are actually mail-enabled public folders, and must be accessed through the "Folders" section of Outlook.

Where Can I Get It?
Public Folders can be converted to a modern shared mailbox upon request. Just open a ticket with the OIT Service Desk to request this.
Departments who already have Public Folders and would like more can request them via the options on this page.
Departments who do not utilize Public Folders should request shared mailboxes instead.
How Much Does It Cost?
There is no cost for this service at this time.
