Does Microsoft Copilot Store My Search History? 

To keep our UTD data private, Microsoft CoPilot does not have chat history. It will not save your searches. 

You will lose the chat if you: 

• Select New topic
• Close browser window 
• Leave chat open for hours 

Microsoft Copilot doesn't support the chat history feature. It does not retain chat prompts or responses. It also offers no usage reporting or auditing capabilities to organizations. View more information on data protection and privacy. 

How Can I Summarize a Page, PDF or Document? 

• Go to the Microsoft Edge Browser in Start menu. 
• At the top right, select the Microsoft CoPilot icon. 

Or 

• If you have a PDF open, you’ll see the “Ask Microsoft Copilot AI” button on the top. 
• The Edge sidebar will appear on the right.
