Objective
The goal of this article is to explain how to use SharePoint to check the remaining amount of storage in a Microsoft Team.
Note: Teams is great for collaborative file storage and sharing, but each team group has a limited quota for storage. Another viable option for file storage is Box, which has no limit on the total amount of storage available.
Procedure
1. Open Microsoft Teams.
2. Navigate to the Team you want to check.
3. Click on any channel, and open the SharePoint site for that Team in your browser. If you have not created a SharePoint site, please refer to Article - SharePoint in Microsoft Teams for instructions.
4. On the left hand side, click Site Contents. Then, in the upper right corner click Site Settings.
6. Click Storage Metrics
7. You can now see the remaining storage left in the upper right corner.
