Error: "There Are Currently No Logon Servers Available to Service the Logon Request"

When a user is getting the following error when trying to log into a UTD-owned Windows computer: "There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request."

This indicates that the computer can't reach UTD's servers to log you in. Usually, this is due to the device not being connected to the Internet. Follow the steps below to check your device network.

  • Check the Network status icon at the bottom right your screen.
  • Try rebooting your computer.
  • Or disconnect and reconnect to the Network.
  • If you use a wired cable to connect to the Internet, ensure it is securely plugged into both the computer and wall.
