Teams Voice, part of Microsoft Teams, is a replacement to the traditional VOIP phone system in use on the UTD Campus. Teams Voice gives users the flexibility to be mobile and access calling functionality from mobile devices. computers and the web. Teams Voice users will be able to use the UTD phone numbers they have to make and receive calls whether they are on campus, working remotely or on the go. By having this functionality it makes collaboration and communication unified all in one platform. Being freed from having to be at a traditional desk phone gives users flexibility while maintaining professional communications channels.
