How to Move Videos from Stream (On SharePoint) To Teams

Objective

This article walks users through the steps needed to move videos from Stream on SharePoint to Teams.

Steps

  1. Go to https://stream.office.com/
  2. Click on the video that you would like to move to teams.
  3. Select the Move to option on the upper left panel of the video.

  1. You can now select the Team to which you would like to move the video to in the left panel under Quick access. If you are unable to find the Team, click on the More places button at the bottom of the panel.

  2. Under the More places hyperlink, you can select from your shared libraries. Including Recent Teams & Your Teams.

  1. Click the Move here button.

  1. The video moved will now be available in the respective Teams folder/channel.

Result

It may take a some time for the videos to upload, but once it’s done your group will have access to the videos again.

They can access the videos by going to the File tab in the class team, then clicking Recording folder and then View Only folder. They can then select any of the videos in this folder and watch them.
