Delete Your Email Account (iOS)

Purpose

This article shows how to delete an email account on your Apple iOS devices.

Procedure

Outlook App

To remove your account on the Outlook app, do the following:

1. In Outlook, open the Menu shown in the below image from the top left side of the screen.
   • Click on the Settings gear icon.

2. Select the mailbox you would like to remove.

3. Select Delete Account.

4. Confirm that you would like to delete the account by selecting Delete.

Mail App

To remove your account on the built-in Mail app, do the following:

1. Select the Settings app.

2. Select Mail.

3. Select Accounts.

4. Select the account that you would like to delete.

5. Select Delete Account and confirm by selecting Delete from My iPhone.
