Creating a Microsoft Bookings Calendar

Explanation

Note: Bookings are only available for faculty and staff.
  • Log in to Bookings using your UTD credentials.
    • On the initial welcome page, select Get it now.

  • Choose Create.

  • You can select Create from scratch or clone an existing Booking page.

  • Enter the name of your Bookings Calendar.
    • OIT recommends and requests that you include the word "Bookings" in the name of your calendar for easier management.
  • You can leave the Business type field blank and click Next.

  • You can add team members from your organization by using the search function and assign a Team member or Administrator role in the Bookings.
  • Select Next.

  • Edit the service by entering the meeting name, duration, days of the week the service will be available, and time.
  • Check Make this a Teams Meeting > Update Service.

  • Set permissions on who can see the bookings page, check availability, and make an appointment. Select Create.
Note: OIT recommends selecting the option to require login (People in my organization) if all the people who would be booking appointments belong to the UTD community.
