Creating a Microsoft Bookings Calendar
Creating a Microsoft Bookings Calendar

Explanation
Note:
Bookings are
only
available for faculty and staff.
Log in to
Bookings
using your UTD credentials.
On the initial welcome page, select
Get it now
.
Choose
Create.
You can select
Create from scratch
or clone an existing Booking page.
Enter the
name
of your Bookings Calendar.
OIT recommends and requests that you include the word "Bookings" in the name of your calendar for easier management.
You can leave the
Business type
field blank and click
Next
.
You can add team members from your organization by using the
search
function and assign a
Team member
or
Administrator
role in the Bookings.
Select
Next
.
Edit the service
by entering the meeting name, duration, days of the week the service will be available, and time.
Check
Make this a Teams Meeting > Update Service
.
Set permissions on who can see the bookings page, check availability, and make an appointment. Select
Create
.
Note:
OIT recommends selecting the option to
require login (People in my organization)
if all the people who would be booking appointments belong to the UTD community.
Your Bookings calendar is now set up!
