Purpose
Microsoft Teams has introduced a new feature called Walkie Talkie for only the mobile Teams app. This feature allows you to have quick burst conversations with other users on Teams without getting into a meeting. Below are a few instructions on using this feature.
Using Walkie Talkie

Note: If you don’t see the app on the first page, swipe to the left, and you should see it on the next page.

- Once you have chosen the Team and Channel you want to be in, you should see a microphone symbol and a connect button.
- Select the Connect, and activate that specific channel’s Walkie Talkie chat.

- Now that you’re in the Channel’s Walkie Talkie chat, you can push and hold the microphone symbol to speak.
- Anyone on that Channel will be able to hear you and respond in the same manner.
- In the top right corner, you can see how many people are in the channel at any given time.
- Once you are ready to leave the channel, select Disconnect, and you will be disconnected from the Channel.
