Scheduling a Microsoft Teams Channel Meeting

Purpose

The article has the steps to schedule a meeting on a Teams Channel so that every team member can join the discussion.

Note: Please read the Teams Meetings vs. Channel Teams Meetings before scheduling one.

Scheduling a Meeting

  • Select the Teams tab from the left sidebar and select the Team you want to schedule a meeting.

  • Navigate to the top-right, select the drop-down icon beside "Meet" > Schedule a meeting.

  • Fill out the form with all the necessary details of the meeting.

  • After scheduling the meeting, all the recipients will receive a message on the team’s channel with an embedded link.
Note: You can also add a channel while regularly scheduling a meeting to make it a channel meeting
