Update Your Microsoft Teams Notifications

Purpose

In Teams, you can set up how and when you would like to get notifications for teams and channels, chats, meetings, and more. This article helps to learn about the steps you need to follow to update your notifications settings.

Teams Notification Setup

  • Click on the Three dot icon (...) right before the user profile icon on the top right (this will either have your initials or your profile picture if you have one set) and choose Settings.

  • Select Notifications & activity in the "Settings" menu.
  • Modify how and when you want your notifications delivered in the panel that opens on clicking Notifications. (General/ Chats & Channels/ Meetings/ People/ Apps)
