Introduction
In Outlook, the "Schedule Sending" feature allows you to compose an email and then schedule it to be sent at a specific date and time in the future. This can be useful if you want to compose a message in advance but prefer to have it sent later, such as during business hours or when the recipient is likely to see it.
Note: These steps are for Outlook for both Windows and Mac.
Steps
- Click on New Email to open a new message window.
- Write your email and add recipients.

- Click the drop-down arrow next to the “Send” button > Send Later.

- A dialog box will appear where you can choose the date and time you want your email to be sent.
- Set your preferred send time and click Send or Schedule.

- The email will be saved in your 'Drafts' and automatically sent at the scheduled time.
Note: This feature is particularly useful for managing your communication effectively and ensuring that your emails are sent at the most appropriate times.
