Scheduling a Teams Meeting in Outlook

Context

Teams meetings can be scheduled directly from the Teams calendar, but they can also be scheduled from Outlook if needed.

Procedure

  • Open Outlook.
  • There are two ways to schedule a Teams meeting from Outlook.

Method 1

  • Go to the Home tab and click on the drop-down next to New Email.
  • Select Teams Meeting.

  • Add the title of the meeting, email ids of the recipients, start time and end time.
  • Click on Send.

Method 2

  • Go to the Calendar option and select New Teams Meeting from the Home tab.

OR

  • Go to the Calendar option and select New Meeting from the Home tab.

  • Click on Send.
